- Location: Lamerton, Tavistock, Devon
Born in Rotherham, Yorkshire, hence the nickname of Yorkie. Joined Royal Marines in 1965 and left medical discharge in 1985, done alsorts since I left, but would go back tomorrow if they would have me. Lived in the village since 1971... and like it.

Great Blog Yorkie. Like the way you have dug out the beds and incorporated manure, well prepared i would say! I do the same for my tatties every year and it does make a difference, i couldn't get over just how much. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing your progress. x
Ziggy...... This year I tried cos I haven't got a lot of room. I used old dustbins and water buts put muck at the bottom and slowly filled them as the tatties came through.... it works so will do it again next year.
