But cos of the depth of soil.......... the parsnips are OK.... I know you should wait till we have had a frost.. but this is Devon.. we don't get them like you up north!!!

Great Blog Yorkie. Like the way you have dug out the beds and incorporated manure, well prepared i would say! I do the same for my tatties every year and it does make a difference, i couldn't get over just how much. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing your progress. x
Ziggy...... This year I tried cos I haven't got a lot of room. I used old dustbins and water buts put muck at the bottom and slowly filled them as the tatties came through.... it works so will do it again next year.
