Great Blog Yorkie....looks really nice and you're doing a great job....had to laugh (you know what my humour is like) at the 'graves' thought you were going into comp with local council! Is the square edging square down pipes you've put into the ground?
Ziggy. Re the "graves" I had one mate came up in the winter when they were all covered in black plastic. As he came up the garden he stopped, turned faced each one and saluted, at each one in turn.
Yes the square edging is down pipes. The problem that I have found is 1) hard to keep in a straight line. 2) the slugs and snails love them. Hence me having salt water in a spray bottle to get rid of them
Born in Rotherham, Yorkshire, hence the nickname of Yorkie.
Joined Royal Marines in 1965 and left medical discharge in 1985, done alsorts since I left, but would go back tomorrow if they would have me.
Lived in the village since 1971... and like it.
